Try this, information technology is working for me for Hotmail.com and Gmail.com accounts.
1- Went to Stock email app(looks similar a white envelope with @ symbol in middle.
2- Created hotmail.com account(dont go through manual process of setting account) and selected "push button" for sending emails to Notation/Gear. Put your email accost and password, follow the steps and you are done.
3- Create gmail.com account and practice the same as step #2.
4- Go in your Note to Settings-General-Accounts. Select the Google account and hit enter, Uncheck box by Sync Gmail.
This is how I accept it gear up and Hotmail too as gmail emails are coming into the Note and Gear.

Someone correct me if I am incorrect.

Can't get this working either, no notifications from stock e-mail app with my two gmail accounts. Notifications are set for stock email and accounts seem to be pulling mail downwardly so not sure why my gear isn't telling me I have mail

Run across mail above me. Make sure you DO Not choose MANUAL in the stock email app when setting the gmail account choose the pick to the right of that for the arrangement to do it all for you lot. In the next page I believe is where the drop downwards option at the top is to select PUSH.

Weird as I did not accept to bear upon my MAC to become the emails from Gmail to work with my Gear. I did accept to go into the Gear app setting and check the email app to send notifications to the Gear.

I've had the same issue, no notification at all, i've tried everything, just now solved information technology.

Everytime i've sent eastward "test-mail", my phone (galaxy note 2) was not in sleeping mode. As i gave up trying, of a sudden my Gear was pushing a new postal service that came in.

Then for me, it merely works when the phone is not awake (what makes sense in my stance). Hope that helps someone others problem too.

That makes sense to me. I don't desire the notifications to clog up my lookout man if I am already looking at the phone.
That only wastes the battery life of the watch. Smart!
